- My First Pitch Instructors (Players aged 7-9)

Job: Assistant Technical Director

Job description: Under the supervision of our Technical Director, Matt Stairs, as well as our President and various Board members, this position will provide baseball development to all of the players in our Association as well as administrative support.

Responsibilities: • Provide ongoing support to coaches at all levels in the association • Maintain records and monitor progress of coaches to ensure coaching requirements • Ensure compliance with the rules of FMBA’s governing bodies including submission of rosters, player releases, criminal record checks for coaches, etc. • Holding player clinics as needed for the different divisions including specific position clinics • Assisting with tournament organization or other similar events • Coordinate scheduling of Grassroots instructors • Assisting with division evaluations and drafts • Assist various board members with game scheduling, equipment distribution and other tasks as required

Requirements: • Experience working in a team environment • Ability to use Office Technology and various Software • Strong planning and organizational skills • Be a full-time student (university or college) in the current academic year of 2021/2022 • Be attending a post-secondary institution full-time in the fall of 2022 (university or college). • Strong baseball skills • Written and spoken competence in English is required, competence in French is an asset

Compensation: $14.00 per hour

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week (flexible schedule), including 2 evenings per week

Duration: 12-15 weeks

Approximate start date: May 9, 2022

Job: Rally Cap Instructor

Job description: Under the supervision of our Technical Director, Matt Stairs and the Assistant Technical Director this position will provide baseball development to Rally Cap players aged 5-6.

Responsibilities: • Provide technical baseball support to Rally Cap players • Ensure that Rally Cap players learn to enjoy the game of baseball

Requirements: • Experience working in a team environment • Strong planning and organizational skills • Strong baseball skills • Written and spoken competence in English is required, competence in French is an asset

Compensation: $14.00 per hour

Hours of Work: 2 hours per day, minimum commitment of 1 day (Monday to Thursday) per week

Duration: 10-12 weeks Approximate start date: June 6, 2022

Job: Grand Slam Instructor

Job description: Under the supervision of our Technical Director, Matt Stairs, and the Assistant Technical Director this position will provide baseball development to Grand Slam players aged 7-8.

Responsibilities: • Provide technical baseball support to Grand Slam players aged 7-8 • Ensure that Grand Slam players further develop and enjoy the game of baseball

Requirements: • Experience working in a team environment • Strong planning and organizational skills • Strong baseball skills • Written and spoken competence in English is required, competence in French is an asset

Compensation: $14.00 per hour Hours of Work: 2 hours per day, minimum commitment of 1 day (Monday to Thursday) per week

Job: My First Pitch Instructor

Responsibilities: • Teach My First Pitch Program to Grand Slam and 11U players aged 7-9 • Ensure that players learn and enjoy the game of baseball

Requirements: • Experience working in a team environment • Strong planning and organizational skills • Strong baseball skills • Written and spoken competence in English is required, competence in French is an asset Compensation: $14.00 per hour
