Local Baseball Players enjoy Blue Jays Camp
Former Jays share their baseball knowledge
Moncton NB - As every player knows, if your serious about your baseball, a chance to learn from Major League level players can do nothing but help. Players from FMBA recently attended the Blue Jays Honda Supercamps in Moncton and were able to meet and learn from former Toronto Blue Jays Roberto Alomar, Jesse Barfield, and Duane Ward just to name a few. Some 100 kids ages 10-16 were put through their paces and provided technical training to help them improve their game. FMBA's Sam Tingley was one of some 12 players from our area who attended the camp and enjoyed some time getting photos with both Roberto Alomar and Jesse Barfield. Another player from Fredericton, Jackson Wilson, who found out how much Blue Jay outfielder Jesse Barfield love his Tim Horton's coffee made sure he brought one to him during camp. In fact, Jesse is holding the coffee Jackson brought to him in the photo with Sam. Right photo, Sam Tingley, Jacob Palmer and Jackson Wilson.
